Lazaretto Kayak Pavillion
When designing a building the site is a crucial aspect to consider in terms of the context.
The momentum for this design came from the question, “What will happen to the climate of Savannah, Georgia in a few hundred years?” Research provided that severe flooding patterns would occur.
This Pavillion is designed to respond to that phenomenon when the time comes. Until then, this kayak facility is designed as a community gathering space.
