Cultivarea

A discovery in human scale, Cultivarea is a kindergarten facility in Bucharest, Romania.

This project recognizes the size of a child and how those proportions differentiate between growing children.

Through the use of moveable walls, loft spaces, and a central dining area students are interacting with each other and their environment.

This project was designed as a collaboration with SCAD furniture students.

Process

This project was aproached with modularity in mind allowing for teachers and students to be able to manipulate the space.
